Helping You Achieve Whole Body
At West Perth Osteopathy, we pride ourselves on offering patients of all ages with a variety of high-quality and helpful services. Our holistic treatments go beyond just treating the source of pain, as our experienced health practitioners focus on assessing body systems to offer a more precise diagnosis.
Whether it’s ankle sprains, carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back discogenic pain, wry neck, headaches and migraines, or more, our services aim to help you achieve whole body health.
Osteopathy is a unique system of holistic manual medicine, which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it operates on a daily basis. Osteopaths are highly-trained practitioners who focus on how a patient’s skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function together as a whole. As a manual medicine, both diagnosis and treatment are carried out with the hands.
Our in-house Naturopath offers natural and holistic treatments for a wide range of health conditions, including those that are both acute and chronic. We use an evidence-based approach to naturopathy and aim to enhance the body’s natural healing response. Our Naturopath offers services such as clinical nutrition, dietary modifications, lifestyle advice, mineral and vitamin supplementation, herbal medicine, and homeopathy to balance a patient’s mental, emotional and physical states.
Dry Needling Therapy
Dry Needling Therapy (DNT) uses acupuncture needles to assist with the treatment and management of muscular pain. We also provide Electrotherapy (EA), which is the application of electrical stimulation to the muscles via needles. By adjusting different parameters, such as pulse length, frequency, and intensity, our Osteopaths can tailor the treatment to suit each individual. Both DNT and EA can relax the muscle, helping to improve joint mobility, enhance healing and ease pain and tenderness.
Remedial Massage Therapy
When used in conjunction with Osteopathic and Naturopathic treatment, Remedial Massage Therapy can optimise treatment outcomes for a variety of physical and emotional concerns. Just some of the many benefits of remedial massage include: reducing and releasing muscle tension and pain, improving circulation, increasing joint flexibility, and promoting relaxation (just to name a few).
Exercise Physiologists specialise in clinical exercise-based interventions for a wide variety of people and complaints, with an aim to prevent and manage disease or injury and assist in the restoration of function, health and wellbeing. Our qualified Exercise Physiologist Tristan Hellings utilises advanced exercise programs to improve and empower lives, helping to prevent and manage chronic disease, injury and pain.
