Richard is a dedicated Remedial Massage Therapist who joined West Perth Osteopathy after a long journey that began with witnessing the transformative impact of remedial massage on one of his children. That powerful experience ignited a dream that took 15 years to bring to fruition. In June 2023, Richard proudly graduated from North Metropolitan TAFE in Northbridge with a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy.

Richard is driven by a deep desire to improve the lives of his clients. He finds immense fulfillment in knowing his treatments help people experience less pain, sleep better, and move with greater ease. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Richard continually develops his skills as part of his membership with Massage and Myotherapy Australia. He is currently expanding his expertise in the Hot Stone Modality.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, cultivating his garden, and pursuing his passion for flying. He has been married to his university sweetheart for 40 years, and together they have four adult children. Richard also gives back to the community by volunteering with the Swan Districts Football Club, working with Lacrosse Western Australia’s senior state teams, and supporting the “Ride for Youth” charity event.

Richard is particularly enthusiastic about helping clients around his age regain mobility and vitality, while also enjoying the energy and determination of younger athletes. With his vast experience and a genuine love for working in a team environment, Richard is excited to bring his skills to West Perth Osteopathy, where he looks forward to collaborating with allied health professionals to provide holistic care.

In addition to his work at West Perth Osteopathy, Richard runs his own part-time Remedial Massage Therapy clinic and also provides corporate massage services across Perth.
