Ray completed his Masters in Osteopathy at Victoria University in 2004. Originally a farmer, Ray decided to study osteopathy after he found much relief for his farming ailments and old sporting injuries by embracing the whole person approach to treatment.
Ray practises a Biodynamic approach to osteopathic treatment and utilises a mix of structural and cranial osteopathic techniques. He is committed to finding the cause of pain rather than just treating the symptoms. Ray is also a qualified Perrin practitioner. He believes in the necessity of the balance of body, mind and spirit for complete health and wellbeing and treats a wide range of conditions and ages from newborn to aged.
Outside of the Practice
Ray’s passion for Osteopathy has seen him become involved in a range of volunteer positions with Osteopathy Australia, including WA President, National Board Member and Media Representative. As a result, he made regular appearances on radio, including with Radio National, 6PR and Curtin FM.
Interests include taking part in activities such as dance classes with his wife (Latin and ballroom), tennis and golf.
Ray and his wife Cathy host fortnightly spirituality evenings for young adults and lead a mentoring programme for newly-engaged couples.
